20070721 : Scaled, bordered and tweaked.

Edited 20050429 : Replaced the original fishnet pattern fill with digitally drawn fishnets, using a WACOM tablet and blurring slightly to make them fit. I figured it would be a hell of a lot easier than reconstituting this panel in editable hardcopy, and I was right.

Meet the first of the Holiday Rush. I'm finishing Polarity tonight- the second page will be up before midnight EST unless something ridiculous happens, like my stomach imploding, or falling asleep due to having woke up at - get this- 7am. Came in to work to do startup for the museum interactives, as everyone else who fits the bill is off today. Did shutdown as well, and had something like seven hours to kill in between the two- during which I organized data, fielded tech calls to the third floor (only two, fortunately), fielded a call from my dad, and built this. As well as the next page, which just needs a lighting treatment before it's done.

The aesthetics on Val were processed in part through After Effects, I ran out of layers, and each of the two characters in the top panel occupies most of a sheet of bristol- making them something like 1/4 scale, instead of the typical 1/3-3/8.
